FAQ

Before you join

Do I need to know how to code already?

No. If you can use a laptop and follow along live, that's enough to get through Day 1. It gets more technical on Day 2, but every step is guided and you're never left to figure something out alone.

Who is actually teaching this?

Govindaraj Kalyanasundaram, Managing Director of Smitiv, teaches both sessions live himself. It isn't outsourced to a training team, and it isn't a recording played back.

What if I miss a session?

Sessions are live and not recorded, so please plan to attend both. If you do miss one, the private WhatsApp group will have that session's project files and prompts so you can catch up before the next evening.

What do I need before Day 1?

A laptop (Windows or Mac), a stable internet connection, and Zoom installed. Setup instructions for every tool we use are shared in the WhatsApp group before Day 1, so you arrive ready to build rather than spending the first hour installing things.

Will the AI tools cost me extra?

Everything in the masterclass is built using free tiers. If you decide to keep building afterwards you may eventually want a paid plan, but nothing beyond the ₹199 is required to complete both days.

I paid — when do I get access?

You'll be added to the private cohort WhatsApp group within 1 hour of paying, using the number you entered at checkout. There's no link to click and no account to create. That group is where the Zoom link, setup instructions, project files and prompt templates all get shared. If an hour passes and nothing's happened, email govind@smitiv.co with your payment reference and you'll be added right away.

Why isn't the group link on this page?

Because the group is part of what you're paying for. It's kept small and limited to people who've booked a seat, so questions during the masterclass actually get answered rather than lost in a crowd.

Is there a certificate?

Yes — everyone who completes both sessions receives a certificate of completion from Smitiv.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. Write to govind@smitiv.co any time before Day 1 begins and you'll get a full refund, no questions asked. Once Day 1 has started the seat is considered used, since capacity was held for you.
